Glen Lake Camp and Retreat Center is a ministry of the Central Texas United Methodist Conference that offers summer camp and year-round retreat experiences to students, families, organizations, groups, weddings and more. We are located in Glen Rose, Texas. We invite you to explore our new website so you can discover how we can serve you, your family, and your church in camp and retreat ministry. DSCF2360FAMILY CAMP
(families including K-3rd)
Cost: $100 per family member

Family Camp is a great way to introduce your family and first time campers to camp! Your family must have at least one K-3rd camper and one parent/guardian to attend. Lodging is at Still Water Lodge in a family suite unit. Your family will be introduced to the camp experience with all worship and activities taking place at the camp. Camp activities include worship, fishing, swimming, canoeing, hiking, crafts, and small group activities.

(half week for 2, 3, & 4 grades)

Cost: $150

  • Mini Camp 2: July 26-28

Mini Camp is an introduction to overnight camping for campers going into the 2, 3, and 4 grades in the fall of 2015. Campers will stay in lodging with 12-14 campers and 2 trained Summer Staff members. Campers will travel to camp activities with their roommates and staff members. Camp activities include worship, fishing, swimming, canoeing, hiking, crafts, archery and small group meetings. Don’t miss out this summer as we relax, play and learn more about God!

(weeklong for grades 3, 4, 5)

  • Elementary Camp 1: June 7-12
  • Elementary Camp 2: July 12-17

Elementary Camp is for campers going into 3-5th grades Fall of 2015. The camp will be fully staffed and is an overnight, weeklong camp. Camp activities include worship, fishing, swimming, canoeing, hiking, crafts, archery, small group meetings, and specialized sessions. Join us this summer as we learn more about God through relaxing and playing together.

(weeklong for grades 4, 5, 6)

Cost: $375

  • Intermediate Camp 1: June 21-26
  • Intermediate Camp 2: July 19-24

Intermediate Camp is for campers going into 4-6th grades Fall of 2015. The camp will be fully staffed and is an overnight, weeklong camp. Camp activities include worship, fishing, swimming, canoeing, hiking, crafts, archery, small group meetings, and specialized skill sessions (Zipline offered for 5-6th grades). (weeklong for grades 6, 7, 8, & 9)

Cost: $375

  • Mid High Camp 1: June 7-12
  • Mid High Camp 2: June 21-26
  • Mid High Camp 3: July 12-17
  • Mid High Camp 4: July 19-24

Mid High Camp is for campers going into 6-9th grades Fall of 2015. 6th graders can choose Intermediate OR Mid High Camp. 9th graders can choose Mid High or High School Camp. The camp will be staffed and is an overnight, weeklong camp. Camp activities include worship, fishing, swimming, canoeing, hiking, crafts, archery, zipline, small group meetings and specialized sessions. Join other mid-highers this summer as we learn more about God and each other!

(weeklong for grades 9-13)

Cost: $375

  • High School Camp: June 28-July 3

High School Camp is for campers going into 9-13th grades Fall of 2015. 13th grade denotes the summer after completing Senior year. 9th graders can choose Mid High or High School Camp. This is an overnight, weeklong camp. Camp activities include worship, fishing, swimming, canoeing, hiking, crafts, archery, zipline, small group meetings, and specialized breakout sessions (2015 HS grads will meet in a small group with other graduates).
