Canoes & Fishing

Canoeing and fishing is available to all of our guests onsite at Glen Lake. However, life jackets must be worn for canoe use and adults need to be present with children/youth. Swimming in the lake is not allowed during retreat season, but you can reserve our Splash n' Crash water park, please see our Inquiry Form for more information.

Hike to the Cross

Campers will be able to join this led hike to the cross. After walking through the Paluxy River campers will follow staff along a marked trail to the cross on the hill behind the camp. There they will enjoy an amazing view of the camp and the city of Glen Rose.

 

Glen Lake Playground
This colorful, sturdy equipment is fun for all ages and available to guests of Glen Lake Camp and Retreat Center.

 Mini Tramp / Blob

During our Summer Camp, campers & volunteers have the recreation option of the Mini Tramp/Blob on our upper lake. This is in addition to canoes, fishing, inside gym activities, our 100 foot water slide and the Splash n' Crash Waterpark! Visit our Summer page for more information about our summer camp choices.
