Hike to the Cross & River Walk

Glen Lake camp sits right on the Paluxy river! Guests of all ages can walk down to the river and explore the nature and wildlife it has to offer. Then, if you are up for it, you can walk across the river and follow a marked trail up to the cross on the hill behind the camp. Once you make it to the top you will enjoy an amazing view of the camp and the city of Glen Rose! It's a great place for a group photo!

 

 

Sports and Spaces

We have plenty of open space for groups to play any sport they would like! This space also includes a newly updated softball field, and a sand volleyball court, as well as a bocce ball court coming in the spring of 2011. We have equipment for almost any game you could imagine, and a few of our favorites are: ultimate frisbee, soccer, kick ball, volleyball, softball, football, wiffle ball, horseshoes, bocce ball, and 4 square. And of course inside our gym we offer basketball, ping pong, pool, table hockey, and foosball.
