Orientation/Initiatives
Introduction of facilitators, get-to-know you games, and an orientation to the program and schedule for the day. Through a series of clearly defined tasks, the group must employ cooperation, some physical and mental effort to arrive at a solution. This problem solving approach to learning is very effective in developing each group members’ awareness of the decision making process, leadership roles, and the responsibilities of each person within the group.
