For Weeklong Camps

  • Pajamas
  • 6 pairs of underwear
  • 6 pair of socks
  • 6 t-shirts
  • 4-6 pairs of shorts
  • 1 swimsuit (athletic or 1 piece)
  • 1 set of destructible t-shirt and shorts (it won’t matter if they get messed up)
  • 1 laundry bag w/name clearly marked
  • Tennis shoes-no black soled shoes are allowed on gym floor
  • Sandals or Flip Flops
  • River walking shoes-tennis shoe style

     

    For Weekend Camps

    • Pajamas
    • 3 pairs of underwear
    • 3 pairs of socks
    • 3 t-shirts
    • 2-3 pairs of shorts
    • 1 swimsuit (athletic or 1 piece)
    • 1 set of destructible clothes (it won’t matter if they get messed up)
    • 1 laundry bag w/name clearly marked
    • Tennis shoes-no black soled shoes are allowed on gym floor
    • Sandals or Flip Flops
    • River walking shoes-tennis shoe style

     

    Sports Equipment (optional)

    • Sweatshirt & Jeans for Paintball
    • Fishing Pole (we also provide this)

     

    Other Items For All Camps

    • One Set of single sheets / light blanket OR
    • One sleeping bag
    • 1 pillow with pillowcase
    • 2-4 washcloths/1-2 towels
    • 1 large beach towel  
    • Toothbrush, toothpaste, and floss
    • Shampoo and soap
    • Shower Tote
    • Waterproof Sunscreen  SPF-15+
    • Comb and/or Brush
    • Lotion

    • Bible
    • Stationary and pens, pencils, pre-addressed stamped envelopes
    • Flashlight

    • Camera and film - with name clearly marked
    • Books or quiet games for rest time
    • Extra pair of glasses or contacts, strap for glasses
    • Rain Pancho
    • Bug Spray

    • Spending Money– We suggest that you buy any souvenirs after checking in, and leave money on the campers GLCash Card for snacks and crafts only. See 13. Camp Store for more information.


    STUFF TO LEAVE AT HOME:

    1. Ipods, MP3 and Radio/CD players
    2. Game Boys and other Electronic Games
    3. Cell Phones, pagers (see 11. Telephone/Cell Phones)
    4. Valuable Jewelry
    5. Weapons, knives, fireworks
    6. Candy, food, and drinks are available in our camp store, which is open twice a day.
